Jackie Ferro is an award-losing screenwriter and improviser from New York. She has a BA in Film and Media Studies from Yale University and an MFA in Screenwriting from UT Austin. Her work has been recognized by the Austin Film Festival, the PAGE Awards, and the Warner Bros. TV Writing Workshop, and she is a graduate of the inaugural WGI Support Staff Training Program.

Her work is primarily character-driven high-concept comedy—she loves exploring a big, silly premise and writing characters with big, earnest hearts. When she's not writing, she works for the New York Public Library, expanding digital media access and literacy for teens across New York City, and performs on a musical improv house team at the Magnet Theater.
