Stephanie Cheng is a filmmaker, actor, and photographer based between New York and Beijing. Her work examines cross-cultural dimensions within feminism, sexuality, power, and race, with a particular focus on the disillusionment one encounters through the slow and non-linear transitions of life. She performs improvised mumblecore with Frances HaHa and is currently developing her next film, to be shot in Beijing.

Stephanie received her B.F.A. in Film and Television from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.
